Free Wood Craft Pattern

In this book I tell of my conversations with several men who carve chains and other related objects. The linked chain cut from a single block of wood is the most persistent and universal form of woodcarving. I do not pretend to explain every global instance of chain carving; rather, I look at the experiences of a few carvers in one locale to see what patterns emerge. I especially argue that people often use creativity to help them adjust - sometimes to a new situation, a life crisis, or emotional conflicts and tensions.

Crafters are always on the lookout for great designs to use in their work-and this collection of copyright-free patterns is a valuable sourcebook that will fill that need. Including motifs, boxes, borders, and swags, these design elements are so easy to mix, match, combine, and tailor to fit any particular craft or desire. Wood as a medium - As a contemporary artistic medium, wood is used in traditional and modern styles, and is an excellent medium for new art. Wood is used in forms of sculpture, craft, and decoration including chip carving, wood burning, and marquetry.

Acid-free paper - Acid-free paper is paper that has a neutral or basic pH (7 or greater), although paper having a pH between 6 and 7 is often also considered acid-free. During production, it is treated with a mild base to neutralize the natural acids occurring in wood pulp, and it may also be buffered to prevent the formation of additional acids (as may develop from the application of sizing).
